French beans /Franske bønner  is a green vegetable and it is smaller than common green beans and have a soft, velvety pod. Quite fleshy for their size, only tiny seeds inhabit these delicate pods. French beans are sweet, tender and wonderfully crispy. which are a rich source of vitamins.

French beans can be stir-fried and are used in oriental cookery in this way. They can be added to soups and stews and used to garnish vegetable dishes.
